Mountain Meditation

Mountains are the place of visions, where once can touch the panoramic scale of the natural works and its intersection with fragile but tenacious roots. We can borrow these wonderful archetypal qualities of mountains and use them to bolster our intenti ons and weather life’s stor ms with the strength and resilience of the mountain.

 

 

Loving-Kindness Meditation

This is a powerful meditation that strengthens self-love, and love and kindness towards others. Loving-kindness meditation (sometimes called “metta” meditation) is a great way to cultivate our propensity for kindness. It involves mentally sending goodwill, kindness, and warmth towards others by silently repeating a series of mantras.

 

 

Mindful Breathing

Connecting with the breath may sound like an easy practice, but it is indeed one of the core pieces of a solid meditation practice. Learn to connect with the breath in a variety of ways, not only during meditation, but throughout the day. Mindful breathing is a good antidote to restlessness and anxiety, and the primary way to relax: concentration on the breath has a positive effect on your entire physical, emotional, and mental state. The meditation has progressive stages leading to a highly enjoyable level of concentration, comfort, and relaxation.

 

 

Body Scan and Progressive Muscle Relaxation

Learn to connect with your body, release any tension or pain, and bring awareness to the power and magnificence or you amazing body! Sending gratitude and awareness to our body; checking in with your body on a regular basis to release tension, is a great way to practice the mind/body connection and experience the benefits! Connecting to silences with comfort is a practice in grounding and safety. We are bombard with sounds each and every day. Embracing the silence is to disconnect with all that we do, all that we need to do or have to do, and simply enjoy being. Disconnect from the all the noise- and enjoy the silence J!
