Find Your Soul Tribe
I want to take a moment to give a loving shout-out to the amazing women involved in the International Interfaith Women’s Group and Gratitude Meditation Circle. Thank you for your love and open hearts, and for the opportunity to meditate and pray with you weekly. As I start my new journey in Tulsa, Oklahoma, I take your ideals, values, open hearts and minds with me to cultivate new connections in gratitude, love, and community.
I’ve had an amazing week here in Tulsa, Oklahoma. This will be my new home and I’m excited to make new connections and friendships, especially in the meditation and wellness arena. There are so many open minded, wonderful people here practicing holistic wellness, helping people heal from pain, anxiety, depression, and stress. And to my friends across the country helping people grow spiritually, I thank you and I love you.
I believe we’re all here on this earth to lead a happy and healthy life, however, many of us are on the bridge between sickness and health, frequently retreating back to old unhealthy patterns that cause illness mentally, emotionally, spiritually, and physically. By reaching out to cultivate your tribe, therein lies your release from isolation and hopelessness. I’ve had the honor in my life to meet exceptional loving beings practicing the art of healing, from counselors to yogis, reiki practitioners, spiritual gurus, meditation teachers, vibrational healing, sound meditations, sensory deprivation float tanks, spiritual retreats, time in nature, energy spots, etc.
Cultivating a community of healers offers an individual the time, energy, ‘ah-ha’ moments, and safe space needed for a spiritual awakening. When I think of the value of a tribe that’s primary reason for creation is spiritual growth, and when it comes from a place of love, I can’t tell you the invaluable nature of such a group. From my own personal experience, the energy you get back from participating and contributing your unique, personal gifts to a tribe of like-minded, open-minded, loving souls, will bless you abundantly. My amazing tribe of women has been there for me during the most difficult time. I shared in my last blog post about losing my mama, she’s dancing with the angels now, teaching them how to have a good time, dancing, singing, and enjoying her new journey.
When my mom passed away, my tribe was an abundant source of support and love – there was an outpouring of love and support. This gave me stability, grounding, and a routine. We met every Wednesday to pray, we shared equally in heartache, in celebration, and in gratitude. We meditated through vibrational healing or sound meditations (crystal bowls, Tibetan singing bowls, and spirit drums). We listened to meditations from thought leaders (Wayne Dyer, Deepak Chopra, Oprah, to name a few), and we shared on what spoke to us on a deep, personal level. We prayed our most sacred prayers, from all walks of faith, without judgement, with pure love, empathy, and a deep understanding that we are all one. We also danced, sang songs and celebrated life!
I’ve had the honor and pleasure to participate in retreats and travel across the country on with these lovely women, my soul tribe, and I have created memories and friendships that will last forever.
If you’re reading this, and your soul is yearning for a tribe, begin to connect with your authentic self, meditate, pray, enjoy quiet time, take care of yourself, listen to your intuition, take chances, say yes, and follow your instincts. Seek out practitioners that will help you to deepen your spiritual practice, and you’ll have a tribe for life! It’s all about you, this is your spiritual journey, and it doesn’t have to cost a lot. Like any problem, you can through money at it, or you can invest in yourself, by investing your time and energy in cultivating an authentic, happy relationship with yourself. I invite you to reach out – find someone in your area that walks the walk, and if you have questions, give me a call, I’m here for you.
I’ll leave you with this thought; a Soul Tribe is a group of spiritually awake, authentic, loving souls, connected by universal truths that create, consistently, a safe space for personal growth and change, without agenda, ego, or monetary gain. This is more than a community; and this is needed in our personal life if we are to experience transformative, spiritual-level growth and change. What would it be like to wake up spiritually? What would it feel like to experience an outpouring of love, abundance, blessings, and enlightenment? The highest level of happiness, abundance and love?
I urge you to take the time to do this, to make time for personal growth, to grow your spiritual side, to ignite the spiritual light that resides in all of us. We are one my friends, and we don’t have to go it alone.
Sending you loving-kindness today and always,
